The R.A.P.I.D. LT is a real-time PCR instrument capable of analyzing samples for the presence of targeted nucleic acid sequences.
Built upon LightCycler technology, this instrument combines rapid air thermocycling and a real-time fluorimeter to reliably identify test samples in less than 25 minutes. Because of its sensitivity, accuracy and high speed, it is the ideal instrument for rapid pathogen identification and genotyping.

 

Because of its unique design, test samples achieve a high uniformity of temperature and ultra-rapid transitions ensuring better results and cleaner melting curves.

LT reagents LT reagents contain all the necessary components for PCR in a single reaction vial. The room-temperature stable, freeze-dried reagents minimize technician time and reduce error. LT reagents allow for quicker and easier set-up, leading to faster and more reliable results.

LT software

Included with the instrument is a laptop computer pre-loaded with easy-to-use run and analysis software.
The software operates the instrument, automatically collects and analyzes data, then reports the results in an easy-to-read and printable format. An advanced version of the software is also available; which provides in-depth analysis tolls for precise PCR analysis and information-management modules.
