Microbiology International as you know, provides the most advanced anaerobic workstations on the market with many standard features such as yearlong catalyst life without baking, maintenance free humidity removal and touchscreen controls. Additional options include class leading HEPA filtration (better than a Class III environment according to ISO 14644-3), HEPA exhaust filtration to decrease 99.999% potential pathogen escape, and our patented Anaerobic Conditions Monitoring System (ACMS) which includes a daily catalyst monitor.

Our manufacturing partner of over 20 years, Don Whitley Scientific, have focused their efforts into developing a new workstation designed for anaerobic processing that can be operated in a GMP environment. This decision was based on many customer inquiries into our market leading HEPA workstations that required more precise air flow technology and software to meet GMP standards. Based on customer feedback and a desire to provide a cutting edge system that presents a new class of anaerobic workstations the A135 GMP Workstation was designed.

The A135 GMP Workstation* is the latest workstation to be added to the anaerobic range, and is specifically designed to be used as a clean-air isolator in processes following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). This new anaerobic workstation provides Grade A air cleanliness (EU GMP), and combines sterile laminar airflow, positive operating pressure, and physical isolation, to provide highly effective product protection. Due to being a completely closed, re-circulating, isolator system, this workstation can be housed in a Grade D cleanroom during GMP compliant use.

An optional HEPA Filtered Airlock is also available, which includes the incorporation of a H14 HEPA filter to ensure 100% reduction in airborne particulate in the airlock over the course of the cycle. This ensures Grade A particulate counts in the main chamber are not compromised.

Each workstation is tested by an independent organisation to ensure compliance with ISO 14644-3. In addition, tests carried out in our own laboratories confirm the integral HEPA filtered laminar flow system meets the requirements set out in BS EN 12469:2000 with regard to protection of the working area from particulate and microbial contamination.

Monitoring System
Monitors and displays real time oxygen levels within the workstation. Depending on the percentage of oxygen present, the chamber/airlock symbol on the touch screen will read green, yellow or red. The system is complete with oxygen sensor and a special software package. The oxygen sensor is located inside the and quickly calibrated via the touch screen
