Autoclaves
Purchasing a laboratory sterilizer from Microbiology International insures you are receiving the highest quality and most advanced autoclave available on the market. We can custom build your autoclave to include quick cooling and other options specific for your laboratory applications. Our laboratory autoclaves are available in various size options from 45 L-1580 L capacities. The double door and pass through autoclave is available in sizes ranging from 90 L-1580 L.
Colony Counters
Colony counters offered by Microbiology International are the most advanced available. Our ProtoCOL 3 automated colony counters are equipped with a unique detection system, a powerful software and digital camera control, as well as LED illumination. ProtoCOL 3 colony counters come standard with a built in computer, minimizing the foot print on the lab bench compared to other colony counters available.
Gravimetric Diluters
EZ-Flow gravimetric diluters enable the automatic dilution of the sample with perfect reliability. No weighing the sample, no manually adding diluent. Simply place the sample on the EZ-Flow and start the dilution.
Lab Blenders
We offer lab blender units and stomachers for all applications and budgets such as the EZ-Mix 400 sample preparation unit, which is our most economical lab blender and features paddle blending technology as well as an electronically protected motor and stainless steel construction. The next step up in bag mixers is the EZ-Mix 3500.
Media Preparators
Microbiology International offers the most advanced plate pourer, agar and Petri dish filler and laboratory sterilizers available on the market today. The Systec MediaFill agar plate filler can pour any depth plate and connects directly to our MediaPrep autoclave sterilizers for a completely closed system. This Petri dish filler is the only dish filler that can easily be converted to pour 90mm, 60mm and 35mm plates all in one system!
Peristaltic Pumps
EZ-Dispense is a range of peristaltic pumps for culture media preparation. Use it for serial dispensing of culture media (e.g.: 9mL in tube), agar (e.g.: 18mL in Petri) or any liquid diluent (e.g.: 90 mL or 225 mL in bottle or blender bag). Compact, it has an intuitive interface and great ergonomics. Its speed is precision guarantee efficiency in your sample preparation.
Spiral Plating
The Whitley Automated Spiral Plater (WASP) eliminates serial dilutions. It offers a real reduction in the cost per test and standardizes counting methods. It is used in the food industry to test for safe levels of bacteria and as a quality assurance and research tool in pharmaceuticals, water and dental.
