Whitley AtmoGen

The Whitley AtmoGen - the new and improved Jar Gassing System - has fresh, modern graphics, bespoke software, and optional dual gas input. The AtmoGen is used to generate multiple atmospheres (anaerobic, microaerobic and capnophilic) in gas jars in the most convenient, rapid and cost-effective way. This system can gas three separate jars simultaneously with the same atmosphere.

Easy to use, with no complicated operator training required, this device can be used with your existing anaerobic jars (using an adaptor kit).

**Microbiology International does not recommend jar gassing systems for the isolation of obligate anaerobes. Anaerobic jar gassing systems require users to inoculate samples and handle the agar plates on the bench at atmospheric oxygen levels which can reduce the recovery rates for a range of clinically significant strict anaerobes. Jar gassing systems are suitable for facultative anaerobes and microaerophilic samples. An anaerobic workstation is recommended for strict anaerobic samples to insure maximum recovery, isolation and identification.

Accessories

Whitley Incubation Box

Whitley Incubation Box is ideal for use with the Whitley Atmogen (evacuation/replacement method) or as a stand-alone system to use with gas generation sachets. Adaptors are available for use with other jar gassing systems.
