The Whitley A20 Workstation is one of our smallest anaerobic workstations. It provides excellent conditions for the processing, incubation and examination of samples without exposure to atmospheric oxygen and is incredibly gas efficient. It can accommodate 240 x 90mm Petri dishes while retaining a generous working area. It will hold up to 400 plates if the user requires additional space for anaerobic incubation.

The A20 has a 240 x 90mm Petri dishes while retaining a generous working area. If the user requires additional incubation space the system will accommodate up to 400 plates.

The A20 is the perfect first step-up from using anaerobic jars to using a workstation. It has the same precise control of parameters as our larger workstations, ensuring the very best anaerobic conditions are maintained. You can check your plates as often as you like and perform tasks inside the workstation without risk to your samples.

This workstation is equipped with two oval, multi-functional glove ports that act as mini airlocks, each capable of transferring 10 x 90mm Petri dishes as a user inserts their arms.

The A20 is fitted with a color, touch-screen control panel for ease of use and for visual display of parameters such as temperature and humidity. The touch screen provides the user with an intuitive interface for easy control and operation of the workstation.

This workstation is the up-to-date replacement for the DG250 Workstation, which has been extremely popular with customers for many years. This new model provides modern features such as the full color touchscreen, remote access, data download (for traceability) and the opportunity to have Anaerobic and Catalyst Conditions Monitoring.

This workstation can be used for both anaerobic and microaerobic applications simply by changing the gas supplies.

Options:

Trolley
Custom-designed trolley frees up bench space and allows the chamber to be moved

15cm Side
Entry Letterbox
Ideal for quickly introducing small quantities of samples and supplies

15cm Spare
Cable Gland
Used to accommodate a power or data cable without affecting the chamber conditions

Data Logging
Access temperature, humidity, chamber pressure and anaerobic conditions. Stores up to 30 days of system information, accessed via USB port.

Anaerobic Conditions
Monitoring System
This factory-fitted option monitors and displays real time oxygen levels within the workstation. Depending on the percentage of oxygen present, the chamber/airlock symbol on the touch screen will read green, yellow or red. The electronic Anaerobic Conditions Monitoring System is complete with oxygen sensor and a special software package. The oxygen sensor is located inside the chamber for accurate, real-time readings. The sensor is easily and quickly calibrated via the touch screen.

Catalyst Monitoring
System
A factory-fitted option for Whitley Anaerobic Workstations. It is set to conduct the test overnight so that when you arrive at the lab in the morning, a pop-up box on the touchscreen informs you of the status of the catalyst. This option can be used either on its own or in conjunction with the Whitley Anaerobic Conditions Monitor, which provides continuous monitoring of the level of oxygen present in the workstation.
