    Innovative automatic safety door lock

    Easy and safe. When the autoclave lid is closed, the lid is automatically locked by a circumferential ring system. A special lip seal made of heat resistant silicone provides reliable sealing. As steam pressure builds within the sterilizer, the seal becomes tighter.

    The lid also opens easily – either at the push of a button or automatically at the end of a sterilization cycle.

    The door-locking system on this BSL-3 autoclave, is temperature dependent and adheres to national and international safety standards. The door remains locked as long as there is excess pressure in the chamber. The lid, like other parts of the pressure vessel and housing, is made of stainless steel. The modern design faceplate, which also contains the control panel, display and part of the control technology, is made of heat resistant and insulated plastic. There is no risk of the autoclave operator coming into contact with hot components.

    Steam generation

    A steam generator is incorporated in the sterilizer housing providing substantial benefits:

    • No heating elements and no reservoir for dirty water in the chamber
    • With stand-by pre-heating option, only 10 min. heating time to 121° C with an empty chamber
    • Improved removal of air from the empty chamber via pulsed heating (rapid attainment of optimal steam atmosphere, even without a vacuum)
    • Accuracy better than ± 0.5 C with empty chamber
    • Quicker cooling as neither hot water in the chamber nor the separate steam generator need be cooled
    • After cooling, steam is immediately available for the next sterilization run.
     

    Pressure-safe up to 5 bar/150 °C

    The Systec biosafety autoclaves are designed for higher pressures and temperatures. The standard pressure sterilizer chamber is designed for 5 bar/150 °C. If the expanded pressure and temperature model is selected as an option, all control and safety components are adapted to the higher temperature and pressure. This option may be retrofitted to existing BSL3 series pass through autoclaves.

    Systec biosafety autoclave units are equipped direct from the factory for sterilization temperatures up to 140 °C and 4 bar of pressure.

    Quality materials quality manufacturing

    The pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant electro-polished stainless steel 1.4571 (V4A) AISI 316 Ti and therefore very easy to clean. The biosafety level 3 autoclave framework and housing are also made of stainless steel. The highly efficient, high-quality Hanno-Tect insulation material releases no particles and therefore the Systec D2D-Series sterilizer is ideal for use in clean room environments

    Exhaust steam is condensed automatically via a PT 100-regulated cooling system. This prevents odors and protects waste water piping.

     

    Controls – new generation

    The Systec biosafety double door autoclave units have “comprehensive intelligence”: Pressure is controlled via an electronic pressure transducer. Additionally, there is a flexible temperature sensor in the sterilization chamber or in a reference vessel (for liquids) and another sensor at the coldest part of the chamber, the condensate outlet. The touch screen, specially developed for our laboratory autoclave, controls all relevant functions such as steam pressure, temperature and sterilization time as well as optional rapid cooling, pre / post-vacuum and drying.

    Menu-presented instructions in easy to read text form. An advanced touch screen with acoustic confirmation signal. Ergonomically located in a logical and easy to operate position.

Cooling Coils

Cooling coils with support pressure provide a coil wrapped around the outside of the sterilization vessel. During the cooling phase, cool water circulates through the coils, reducing cool down time. Support pressure prevents liquids from boiling over during the cooling process, eliminating evaporative loss of sterilized liquids.

Radial Ventilator

Radial ventilator for air circulation and accelerated heat removal from the sterilizer chamber. Combined with cooling coils and support pressure, the radial ventilator creates a more rapid exchange of heat from the chamber by utilizing an internal fan to circulate air.

UltraCool

UltraCool is an additional heat exchanger behind the radial ventilator. This special ridged coil provides a substantial increase in surface area for fast and efficient removal of heat during the cooling process. UltraCool can reduce cooling time by 90% compared to exhaust cooling and 50% compared to cooling coils with just the radial ventilator alone.

    Operation by Touch-Screen technology

    Operation is easy and rapid via a large (5.7 inch) touch screen interface for direct reading. This innovation oers additional options and increased flexibility when working with the autoclave. For example, process data can be displayed numerically or graphically. 7 programs are pre-defined but can be expanded (up to 100) as required by the user. To create a new program, the user is guided through the process by a menu dialog. Every new program is automatically assigned to a permanent, unalterable name and can also be given an individual designation by the user. All process parameters can be individually altered.

    All-round quality

    The pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 316L (1.4404) and is easy to clean. An approved safety valve for excess pressure is included. The autoclave support framework and housing are also made of stainless steel. The highly efficient, high-quality melamine foam insulation material releases no particles; Systec autoclaves can be used under clean-room conditions.

    Dual sensors as standard

    Temperature and pressure are controlled via an electronic pressure sensor, as well as a flexible temperature sensor in the chamber or in a reference vessel (with liquids). Systec HX autoclaves also have an additional temperature sensor in the floor drain.

    Combinated heating

    The combined heating function supplements the built-in steam generator with an external steam heating. A program can be configured to use the internal or external steam heating option. The external steam is supplied at its own connection by the customer‘s facility.

    Internal memory
    The internal memory for process data uses the internal storage; this is part of the Systec PLC. The capacity is sucient to store process data over an average period of 10 years.
    Elektronic data output
    The integrated documentation feature is used for comprehensive batch documentation and for exporting the electronic data as PDF or CSV via network interface or USB. The essential values of the individual program phases and process parameters are presented in a tabular overview, followed by a graph and a numerical table of the program sequence.*the network interface requires the optional „Save to Folder“ feature for downloading the file to an FTP/SFTP server.
    Backup feature
    The backup function (via USB) enables the user to save and restore:
    • program lists and their parameters,
    • complete backups of the device with the current device software and its databases.
    The backup file is encrypted and thus protected against manipulation.
    Real-time clock
    The device has a real-time clock with automatic changeover to daylight savings time. Time, date and time zone can be set manually via the touch screen, the web server or automatically via the internet. A time server and an internet connection are required to automatically set the time.

    Save to Folder
    The "Save to Folder" function automatically exports the current process log to a server after the cycle has been finished. The following server types are supported: FTP, SFTP, FTPS.
    SCADA connection
    All relevant information (current values of defined analogue and digital inputs and outputs of a device, current process status, alarms) is transmitted by the autoclave using the OPC-UA protocol.
    Printer
    An integrated printer is optionally available for documenting the program type, batch number, date, and time. The printout contains the essential information of a program cycle. It shows the basic parameter settings and the success or failure of a program cycle. The printout is created in the language that has been selected on the device.
    Advanced CFR Part 11 solution
    Data can be downloaded from the autoclave as PDF and/or CSV (Excel) files*, using the USB or network interface**. Both the PDF and CSV files are electronically signed by the autoclave. This electronic signature is clearly assigned to the respective autoclave. It also indicates whether the exported files are valid or not. Any attempt of manipulation will result in the file being marked as invalid.The advanced CFR 21 Part 11 solution also includes:
    • Extended user account control. This includes an individual or global program list for each user, the assignment of the user to an individually created group (e.g. user, supervisor, administrator, cleaner, etc.) which has customizable rights.
    • AuditTrail: All executed actions (e.g. changing parameters, starting or stopping sterilization programs) are documented and can be traced back to the respectice user and time stamp (date/time).
    • There are up to five fields for electronic signatures. These are used to sign the exported PDF or CSV files on a PC (or any other device with the functionality to sign documents electronically).

    Systec Autoclaves Give You Data Control and Documentation

    Your advanced Systec autoclave stores cycle data that can be downloaded from the autoclave, or transferred directly to your network via FTP as PDF and/or CSV (Excel) files. Both documents are electronically signed by the autoclave. This electronic signature is unique and specific to each autoclave. Manual manipulation of any data will result in the file being marked as invalid.

    The advanced 21 CFR Part 11 solution includes:

    • Extended user account control with customizable access, group assignments and more.
    • AuditTrail: all executed actions are documented and can be traced back to the respective user and time stamp
    • There are up to five fields for electronic signatures

    Communication Options:

    • FTP – data can be automatically sent to the server or PC and the end of the autoclave cycle

    Innovative automatic safety door lock

    Easy and safe. When the autoclave lid is closed, the lid is automatically locked by a circumferential ring system. A special lip seal made of heat resistant silicone provides reliable sealing. As steam pressure builds within the sterilizer, the seal becomes tighter.

    The lid also opens easily – either at the push of a button or automatically at the end of a sterilization cycle.

    The door-locking system on this high capacity autoclave, is temperature dependent and adheres to national and international safety standards. The door remains locked as long as there is excess pressure in the chamber. The lid, like other parts of the pressure vessel and housing, is made of stainless steel. The modern design faceplate, which also contains the control panel, display and part of the control technology, is made of heat resistant and insulated plastic. There is no risk of the autoclave operator coming into contact with hot components.

    Steam generation

    A steam generator is incorporated in the sterilizer housing providing substantial benefits:

    • No heating elements and no reservoir for dirty water in the chamber
    • With stand-by pre-heating option, only 10 min. heating time to 121° C with an empty chamber
    • Improved removal of air from the empty chamber via pulsed heating (rapid attainment of optimal steam atmosphere, even without a vacuum)
    • Accuracy better than ± 0.5° C with empty chamber
    • Quicker cooling as neither the hot water in the chamber nor the separate steam generator need to be cooled
    • After cooling, steam is immediately available for the next sterilization run.
     

    Pressure-safe up to 5 bar/150 °C

    The Systec H-Series high capcity autoclave units are the first of its kind to be designed for higher pressures and temperatures. The standard pressure sterilizer chamber is designed for 5 bar/150 °C. If the expanded pressure and temperature model is selected as an option, all control and safety components are adapted to the higher temperature and pressure. This option may be retrofitted to existing H-series horizontal floor standing autoclave units.

    Systec H-Series high capcity autoclaves are equipped direct from the factory for sterilization temperatures up to 140 °C and 4 bar of pressure.

    The pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant electro-polished stainless steel 1.4571 (V4A) AISI 316 Ti and therefore very easy to clean. The large capacity autoclave framework and housing are also made of stainless steel. The highly efficient, high-quality Hanno-Tect insulation material releases no particles and therefore the Systec HX-Series sterilizer is ideal for use in clean room environments

    Exhaust steam is condensed automatically via a PT 100-regulated cooling system. This prevents odors and protects waste water piping.

     

    Controls – new generation

    The Systec high capacity autoclaves have a “comprehensive intelligence”: Pressure is controlled via an electronic pressure transducer. Additionally, there is a flexible temperature sensor in the sterilization chamber or in a reference vessel (for liquids) and another sensor at the coldest part of the chamber, the condensate outlet. The microprocessor, specially developed for our laboratory autoclave, controls all relevant functions such as steam pressure, temperature and sterilization time as well as optional rapid cooling, pre / post-vacuum and drying.

    Cooling coils with support pressure provide a coil wrapped around the outside of the sterilization vessel. During the cooling phase, cool water circulates through the coils, reducing cool down time. Support pressure prevents liquids from boiling over during the cooling process, eliminating evaporative loss of sterilized liquids.

    Design

    Available with four chamber diameter

    Available with four chamber diameter: 400 mm, 500 mm, 740 mm and 1000 mm diameter.

    All-round quality

    The pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel 316L (1.4404) and is easy to clean. An approved safety valve for excess pressure is included. The autoclave support framework and housing are also made of stainless steel. The highly efficient, high-quality melamine foam insulation material releases no particles; Systec autoclaves can be used under clean-room conditions.

    Dual sensors as standard

    Temperature and pressure are controlled via an electronic pressure sensor, as well as a flexible temperature sensor in the chamber or in a reference vessel (with liquids). Systec HX autoclaves also have an additional temperature sensor in the floor drain.

    Combinated heating

    The combined heating function supplements the built-in steam generator with an external steam heating. A program can be configured to use the internal or external steam heating option. The external steam is supplied at its own connection by the customer‘s facility.

    The pressure vessel of the Systec H-Series is designed for operations at 150 °C and 5 bar absolute pressure. Optional temperature and pressure range extension accessories adapt all control and safety components to the higher temperature and pressure. This option can be retrofitted.

    Internal memory
    The internal memory for process data uses the internal storage; this is part of the Systec PLC. The capacity is sucient to store process data over an average period of 10 years.
    Elektronic data output
    The integrated documentation feature is used for comprehensive batch documentation and for exporting the electronic data as PDF or CSV via network interface or USB. The essential values of the individual program phases and process parameters are presented in a tabular overview, followed by a graph and a numerical table of the program sequence.*the network interface requires the optional „Save to Folder“ feature for downloading the file to an FTP/SFTP server.
    Backup feature
    The backup function (via USB) enables the user to save and restore:
    • program lists and their parameters,
    • complete backups of the device with the current device software and its databases.
    The backup file is encrypted and thus protected against manipulation.
    Real-time clock
    The device has a real-time clock with automatic changeover to daylight savings time. Time, date and time zone can be set manually via the touch screen, the web server or automatically via the internet. A time server and an internet connection are required to automatically set the time.

    Save to Folder
    The "Save to Folder" function automatically exports the current process log to a server after the cycle has been finished. The following server types are supported: FTP, SFTP, FTPS.
    SCADA connection
    All relevant information (current values of defined analogue and digital inputs and outputs of a device, current process status, alarms) is transmitted by the autoclave using the OPC-UA protocol.
    Printer
    An integrated printer is optionally available for documenting the program type, batch number, date, and time. The printout contains the essential information of a program cycle. It shows the basic parameter settings and the success or failure of a program cycle. The printout is created in the language that has been selected on the device.
    Advanced CFR Part 11 solution
    Data can be downloaded from the autoclave as PDF and/or CSV (Excel) files*, using the USB or network interface**. Both the PDF and CSV files are electronically signed by the autoclave. This electronic signature is clearly assigned to the respective autoclave. It also indicates whether the exported files are valid or not. Any attempt of manipulation will result in the file being marked as invalid.The advanced CFR 21 Part 11 solution also includes:
    • Extended user account control. This includes an individual or global program list for each user, the assignment of the user to an individually created group (e.g. user, supervisor, administrator, cleaner, etc.) which has customizable rights.
    • AuditTrail: All executed actions (e.g. changing parameters, starting or stopping sterilization programs) are documented and can be traced back to the respectice user and time stamp (date/time).
    • There are up to five fields for electronic signatures. These are used to sign the exported PDF or CSV files on a PC (or any other device with the functionality to sign documents electronically).

    Our Qualification Services provide, at your location, the most efficient way to achieve and maintain compliance. In addition, we will provide full documentation by supplying reports on installation, operational and performance qualification of your equipment. 

    What is performed during IQ OQ and PQ?

    Installation Qualification (IQ):   This process reviews the pre-installation detail that the equipment, its component parts and location, are fit for the purpose and satisfy the objectives of the user to carry out the intended function to expected standards.
    The IQ qualifies the equipment is installed correctly with proper facility supplies and connections.  This Pre-qualification checks that manufacturer’s documentation, conformity and calibration detail is present.

    Operations Qualification (OQ):  This process is carried out at installation to verify the performance criteria presented by the manufacturer, to confirm the instrument satisfies its agreed metrics and is valid in the working environment by verification against traceable references.

    Performance Qualification (PQ): This process refers to the test or validation protocol carried out by the user, offering documentary evidence that the instrument is maintaining the agreed values.

    Innovative automatic safety door lock

    Easy and safe. When the autoclave lid is closed, the lid is automatically locked by a circumferential ring system. A special lip seal made of heat resistant silicone provides reliable sealing. As steam pressure builds within the sterilizer, the seal becomes tighter.

    The lid also opens easily – either at the push of a button or automatically at the end of a sterilization cycle.

    The door-locking system on this vertical autoclave, is temperature dependent and adheres to national and international safety standards. The door remains locked as long as there is excess pressure in the chamber. The lid, like other parts of the pressure vessel and housing, is made of stainless steel. The modern design faceplate, which also contains the control panel, display and part of the control technology, is made of heat resistant and insulated plastic. There is no risk of the autoclave operator coming into contact with hot components.

    Steam generation

    A steam generator is incorporated in the sterilizer housing providing substantial benefits:

    • No heating elements and no reservoir for dirty water in the chamber
    • With stand-by pre-heating option, only 10 min. heating time to 121° C with an empty chamber
    • Improved removal of air from the empty chamber via pulsed heating (rapid attainment of optimal steam atmosphere, even without a vacuum)
    • Accuracy better than ± 0.5° C with empty chamber
    • Quicker cooling as neither the hot water in the chamber nor the separate steam generator need to be cooled
    • After cooling, steam is immediately available for the next sterilization run.
     

    Pressure-safe up to 5 bar/150 °C

    The Systec V-Series vertical autoclave units are the first of its kind to be designed for higher pressures and temperatures. The standard pressure sterilizer chamber is designed for 5 bar/150 °C. If the expanded pressure and temperature model is selected as an option, all control and safety components are adapted to the higher temperature and pressure. This option may be retrofitted to existing V-series floor standing autoclave units.

    Systec vertical autoclaves are equipped direct from the factory for sterilization temperatures up to 140 °C and 4 bar of pressure.

    Quality materials quality manufacturing

    The pressure vessel is made of corrosion-resistant electro-polished stainless steel 1.4571 (V4A) AISI 316 Ti and therefore very easy to clean. The vertical autoclave framework and housing are also made of stainless steel. The highly efficient, high-quality Hanno-Tect insulation material releases no particles and therefore the Systec V-Series sterilizer is ideal for use in clean room environments

    Exhaust steam is condensed automatically via a PT 100-regulated cooling system. This prevents odors and protects waste water piping.

     

    Controls – new generation

    The Systec floor standing autoclave units have “comprehensive intelligence”: Pressure is controlled via an electronic pressure transducer. Additionally, there is a flexible temperature sensor in the sterilization chamber or in a reference vessel (for liquids) and another sensor at the coldest part of the chamber, the condensate outlet. The microprocessor, specially developed for our laboratory autoclave, controls all relevant functions such as steam pressure, temperature and sterilization time as well as optional rapid cooling, pre / post-vacuum and drying.

    Cooling Coils

    Cooling coils with support pressure provide a coil wrapped around the outside of the sterilization vessel. During the cooling phase, cool water circulates through the coils, reducing cool down time. Support pressure prevents liquids from boiling over during the cooling process, eliminating evaporative loss of sterilized liquids.

    Radial Ventilator

    Radial ventilator for air circulation and accelerated heat removal from the sterilizer chamber. Combined with cooling coils and support pressure, the radial ventilator creates a more rapid exchange of heat from the chamber by utilizing an internal fan to circulate air.

    UltraCool

    UltraCool is an additional heat exchanger behind the radial ventilator. This special ridged coil provides a substantial increase in surface area for fast and efficient removal of heat during the cooling process. UltraCool can reduce cooling time by 90% compared to exhaust cooling and 50% compared to cooling coils with just the radial ventilator alone.

    Superdry

    Installed steam generator supplies heat to coils that surround sterilization vessel. Rapid surface drying occurs due to the heat and the sterilizer chamber being under a vacuum.

    Air Exhaust Filtration

    The exhaust air is filtered via an autoclavable sterile filter. Neither aerosoles nor microorganisms can escape before the sterilization process is complete. Filter cartridge with PTFE membrane, pore size 0.2 um.

    Vertical Lift
